Sitting along the Georgia Atlantic Coast, travel time is less than 5 hours from Atlanta and less than 45min drive from Savannah.

Many of our guests stay here so that they can take day trips over to Sapelo Island or tour the historic Altamaha Scenic Byway nearby.

For local shopping, the town of Darien is only a short drive away.

Gateway to Sapelo.

Sapelo Island is a barrier island that is part of the Coastal Georgia Islands between Savannah and St. Marys rivers and is only accessible via passenger ferry. On the island, dozens of historical, recreational, and educational opportunities await visitors.

Popular island attractions include the Reynolds Mansion, the National Estuarine Research Reserve Visitors Center, and Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary
